International Law

Some of the parts of this vast area in which I practice are as follows:

1.  International Business Transactions:

        (a)  International contracts;

        (b)  Agents & Distributors;

        (c)  Import & Export; and

        (d)  Foreign Investment (Inbound and Outbound);

2.  Immigration;

3.  International Family Law; and

4.  Extradition.

I grew up in the United States, Africa, Europe and South America.  From 1991 until 2011, I was active in a pro bono Russian Rule of Law Project.  Recently, I have been in China and India on education-related and human rights-related matters.  Since 1999, I have taught private and public international law as an Adjunct Professor at Vermont Law School.  I am the Export Legal Assistance Network (ELAN) representative for Vermont, providing free initial telephone consultations on legal matters arising out of transnational business transactions.  If you have needs in the international sphere, I can either assist you directly, or I can promptly point you in the right direction.  See my Publications & Media page for related resources.
